UMS-WRIGHT PREPARATORY SCHOOL
Come Choose Your Adventure!
2022
Welcome! Welcome to the 2022 Summer Programs at UMS-Wright Preparatory School! This summer, we will provide academic, athletic, and creative opportunities to spark new passions and strengthen your
child's potential in mind, body, spirit, and character. Need full time care? Look no further than our day camps: Beginner (K3), Climber (K4-K5), Junior (1st-2nd), and Senior (3rd-6th). These run
throughout the summer and can be registered for according to the weeks you need them. Looking for opportunities that will foster your child’s current interests while igniting new ones? We offer 48
athletic, academic, and specialty camps. Interested in a combination of both day camps and other camps? Feel free to mix and match a morning camp with complete my day: afternoon or complete
my day: morning with an afternoon camp. We cannot wait for you to learn from our expert staff and dive head first into both familiar and new experiences as we aim to provide your child with

Policies WAITLISTS
Due to popularity of many camps, waitlists do occur. To place your child on a waitlist, please email
Sarah Forwood at sforwood@ums-wright.org.
CANCELLATIONS, NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT, AND SWITCHING
Once you register for a summer camp, a non-refundable deposit of $50 will be scheduled to be charged to your FACTS account the week the summer camp starts. If you cancel prior to the
registration deadline, you will receive all of your money back minus the $50 non-refundable deposit. Any cancellations after the deadline will result in no refund. Your last chance to cancel for each
summer program and to receive any money back is by the deadline. If you need to switch your child from one camp to another, please email Sarah Forwood by the registration deadline. There are no
guarantees we can accommodate requests for switches due to staffing, supplies, facilities, and waitlists, but we will try our best. We will be unable to honor any switches after the deadline.
REGISTRATION DEADLINES
The registration deadline is the Wednesday prior to the start of each camp. This revolving deadline helps us adjust for staffing, ensure billing is correct, and fill spots in case of waitlists.
PAYMENTS
All UMS-Wright Families will be billed through their FACTS accounts. All families outside of UMS-Wright should bring a check no later than the first day of camp. Please make all checks payable to
UMS-Wright.

frequently asked questions What is "Complete My Day?" There are multiple ways you can use our “Complete My Day” Day Camp option.
Scenario 1:
If a camper is partaking in a M-Th morning camp, for example Cheer Camp, that child can also register for “Complete My Day: Afternoon”. This would mean that child would attend Cheer Camp from 8:30-11:30, and a staff
member of Cheer Camp would walk your child over to the Day Camp at 11:30. That child would spend the remainder of the day with our Day Camp until 3:30. If you choose this combination, email the leaders of both camps to let
them know where your child needs to be and when, so they can coordinate transporting the child safely between camps. Since Cheer Camp ends on Thursday, your child gets a full Friday of the Day Camp. In this scenario,
afternoon popsicle and lunch are included in the price for the week.
Scenario 2:
If a camper is partaking in a M-Th afternoon camp, for example Mad Scientist, the child can also register for “Complete My Day: Morning”. This would mean that child would attend Day Camp from 7:30-12:30, and a staff member
of the Day Camp would walk your child over to Mad Scientist at 12:30. That child would stay at Mad Scientist until it ended at 3:30. If you chose this combination, email the leaders of both camps to let them know where your
child needs to be and when, so they can coordinate transporting the child safely between camps. Since Mad Scientist ends on Thursday, your child gets a full Friday of the Day Camp. In this scenario, morning snack and lunch
are included in the price for the week.
Scenario 3:
If a camper is partaking in a M-Th morning and a M-Th afternoon camp, for example Cheer Camp in the morning and Mad Scientist in the afternoon, then Complete My Day is not needed. This would mean that child would be
dropped off at 8:30 for Cheer Camp, and at 11:30, a staff member from Cheer Camp would bring that child to eat lunch with Day Camp. At 12:30, a staff member of Day Camp would walk that child over to Mad Scientist at 3:30. If
you choose this combination, email the leaders of all three camps to let them know where your child needs to be and when, so they can coordinate transporting the child safely between camps. Since both Cheer Camp and Mad
Scientist end on Thursday, the child would not attend any camps on Friday. Your child must be signed up for Lunch Bunch if you choose scenario 3.
What is Lunch Bunch?
If you sign your child up for a M-Th morning camp and a M-Th afternoon camp, you are welcome to register your child for one of our two Lunch Bunch options: Lunch Bunch BYO lunch, or Lunch Bunch lunch included. When you
sign up for one of these two options, our staff will get your child from their morning camp to the lunch area where they can eat lunch with other campers and then to their afternoon camp. Our lunch menu can be found on
www.ums-wright.org/summer . Note: Signing up for Lunch Bunch is only necessary when your child is registered for a M-Th morning camp and a M-Th afternoon camp. It is not necessary if your child is enrolled in Complete My
Day: Morning or Complete My Day: Afternoon that week because Complete My Day offerings include lunch and lunch supervision at no extra charge.
Lunch Bunch, BYO Lunch: $0
Lunch Bunch Lunch Included: $ 30 (includes four days)
Can my child do Complete My Day if they are not enrolled in anything else that week?
They can! Complete My Day can also be used as a half-day option. “Complete My Day: Morning” runs from 7:30-12:30 and includes morning snack and lunch. “Complete My Day: Afternoon” runs from 11:30-3:30 and includes
lunch and afternoon popsicle. Both cost $100 and run Monday through Friday.
How does Extended Care work?
For Extended Care in the summer, you pay $50 total for the week. Extended Care is from 3:30-5:30. There are no drop-in options during the summertime. Extended Care follows the same registration deadline policy as camps.
There is a fee for late pick-up of children past 5:30 p.m. of $5.00 for every five minutes or portion thereof.
