F

or more than 70 years, University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) has been a leader in distance learning. We were founded to bring

a respected education from a state university to working adults and servicemembers where they needed us. In 1947, that meant sending professors to post-war Europe. Today, it means offering programs online because that’s where you need us most. We offer a wide range of career-focused programs and services designed to help you advance your education no matter where life takes you, even under the most challenging circumstances. You’re why we’re here—and why we’ve grown to become the largest public university in the nation.
