erving the military is in our DNA. Our dedication to serving the

higher education needs of military servicemembers and veterans goes back to our founding, when UMUC became the first university to send faculty overseas to educate active-duty military personnel in Europe. Today, we serve more than 50,000 active-duty servicemembers, reservists, National Guard members, veterans, and their family members, with locations on military installations in more than 20 countries and territories throughout the world. We uniquely understand the challenges servicemembers and veterans face in earning their degrees. We address those challenges with our reduced tuition rate for military servicemembers, spouses, and dependents; our dedicated military and veterans advisors; and the Vessey Veterans Resource Center, which provides our student veterans with access to insights and support from military-trusted sources.
