Is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident noncitizen

Is a Maryland resident or active-duty military

Is a degree-seeking student pursuing a first bachelor’s degree

Is not receiving 100 percent tuition assistance or reimbursement

Has a minimum grade-point average of 2.0

Upon earning your associate degree from a Maryland community college, you automatically qualify for the UMUC Completion Scholarship, which allows you to earn your bachelor’s degree for $12,000 or less. A candidate for this scholarship must be a UMUC student who

This scholarship is available to students who have earned no more than 12 credits at UMUC, and it can only be applied for up to 60 credits.
