VETERANS ADVISING TEAM Our dedicated veterans advisors can help you plan your degree path, navigate your veterans benefits and other payment options, provide transfer credit information, and more. VETERANS CERTIFICATION OFFICE We’ll process the paperwork for your education benefits quickly and efficiently, so you can focus on earning your degree. VETERANS RESOURCE CENTER You can get timely information and support from trusted sources to help your make more informed academic, career, and life decisions for a successful transition. OFFICE OF VETERANS INITIATIVES AND OUTREACH This office provides support for university-wide student services to ensure you have the resources, support, and advocacy you need to be successful in your civilian life. CAREER AND ALUMNI SERVICES The Office of Career Services provides a mentoring program and opportunities to network with thousands of students and alumni working in your field. VETERANSSUCCESS CLUB A chapter of the Student Veterans of America, this student-run club provides an in-person and online community to ensure fellow veterans and their families have a voice on campus.

Active-duty servicemembers and veterans can be 40 percent to 100 percent eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill based on the number of months of credible service as determined by the VA.

The maximum number of months of benefits may exceed 36 when the student is eligible for more than one program.

Non-resident students paying the non-resident tuition rate may be eligible for the Yellow Ribbon program if they are 100 percent eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill. UMUC and the VA each pay 50 percent of the unmet cost after the VA has paid the maximum in-state rate. Students can use the GI Bill Comparison Tool at www.vets.gov/gi-bill-comparison-tool to calculate their monthly housing stipend.
