BRINGING ID SERVICES TO REFUGEES’ DOORSTEPS

Mobile biometric station of the Ministry of Interior of Montenegro completed processing of applications for the status of foreigner with permanent and temporary residence, at the Camp Konik 1. Some 150 persons used this opportunity to apply for the status of a foreigner, while number of other either have not applied or have been rejected due to various reasons (no refugee status, no valid documentation such as passports, etc.).

PRIKUPLJANJE BIOMETRIJSKIH PODATAKA OD RASELJENIH U KAMPU KONIK

Mobilni tim Ministarstva unutrašnjih poslova Crne Gore, završio je sa obradom prijava za status stranca sa stalnim nastanjenjem i privremenim boravkom, u kampu 1 Konik. Oko 150. lica iskoristilo je ovu priliku da se prijave za status stranca, dok ostala lica ili nijesu podnijela prijavu ili su odbijena zbog različitih razloga (lica koja nemaju status izbjeglice, nemaju validnu dokumentaciju, kao što je pasoš, itd.).

How to produce quality television programs and content for children was the key challenge discussed at a regional conference “Communicating with Children” held in Budva. The conference was organised by the UNICEF offices in Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia.

KONFERENCIJA “KAKO KOMUNICIRATI SA DJECOM”

Na trodnevnoj regionalnoj konferenciji “Kako komunicirati sa djecom”, održanoj u Budvi, raspravljalo se o produkciji kvalitetnog televizijskog programa za djecu. Konferenciju su organizovale kancelarije UNICEF-a u Crnoj Gori, Bosni i Hercegovini, Hrvatskoj i Srbiji.

Under the slogan “Small Bite: Big Threat”, the World Health Day this year focused on vector-borne diseases (transmitted by insects), which cause more than a million deaths annually, according to the WHO. Last year, 13 people in Montenegro were affected by vector-borne diseases – it was stated at the press conference organised to mark World Health Day by the Ministry of Health, Institute for Public Health and WHO Office in Montenegro.

SVJETSKI DAN ZDRAVLJA 2014

Pod sloganom “Mali ujed - velika opasnost” u fokusu ovogodišnjeg Svjetskog dana zdravlja bile su vektorske zarazne bolesti koje prenose insekti. Prema podacima Svejtske zdravstvene organizacije (SZO) od tih bolesti u svijetu umre više of milion ljudi, a u Crnoj Gori je prošle godine oboljelo 13 osoba, istaknuto je na zajedničkoj pres konferenciji Ministarstva zdravlja, Instituta za javno zdravlje i SZO u Crnoj Gori.

UNIDO ENABLES TRANSFER OF ENVIRONMENTALLY SOUND TECHNOLOGIES

UNIDO signed a new, two year project, in close collaboration with Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, funded by the Slovenian Government, with the overall goal of enhancing the quality of polluted water that cannot be used for drinking, bathing, industry or agriculture and detrimentally impacts upon human health and development.

UNIDO OMOGUĆIO PRENOS EKOLOŠKI ODRŽIVIH TEHNOLOGIJA

Agencija UN za industriju - UNIDO potpisala je novi, dvogodišnji projekat, u saradnji sa Ministarstvom održivog razvoja i turizma Crne Gore, koji finansira Slovenačka vlada, sa ciljem poboljšanja kvaliteta zagađene vode koja ne može biti korištena za kupanje, piće, industiju ili poljoprivredu i sline namjene, a koja štetno utiče na ljudsko zdravlje i razvoj.
