All-America and Academic All-America

Earning All-America status in any sport is a rare accomplishment for an athlete, and even fewer can take it a step further and achieve All-America standing in the classroom as well. However, fi ve former University of North Alabama standouts were able to earn both awards in the same year. Ronda Price was named an All-American in 1997 and was Academic All-America in 1997 and 1999. Twin sister Rachel Price achieved All-America status in 1998 and 1999 and was an Academic All-America pick both seasons as well. UNA standout Vanessa Ferretti received both All-America and Academic All-America honors as a senior in the 2005 season. In 2016, senior Natasha Fomina was named an All-American in 2016 and Academic All-America later the same season. The following year, Lexie Bradley also accomplished the feat.
