Received All-America honors in 2005 after leading the nation with 757 kills on the year. She was also third nationally with a 5.69 kills-per-game average. UNA went 36-2 on the year. Earned back-to-back All-America honors during her junior and senior seasons. She led UNA to GSC titles and NCAA Tournament appearances in 2015 and 2016, earning GSC and D2CCA South Region Player of the Year honors in 2016. Earned All-America honors in 2016 and 2017, with a GSC title as a junior and three straight NCAA Tournament appearances. Also received All-South Region honors and was named the 2017 GSC Player of the Year.

First-Team

A two-year starter at setter on teams that went 77-11 overall and won back-to-back Gulf South Conference championships and an NCAA Division II South Central Regional crown. In her two seasons at UNA she had 3,264 assists and averaged 12.1 assists per game.

Selected All-American in both of her two seasons with the Lions. Helped lead UNA to a 72-7 record, two GSC titles and the Final Four.

A three-time All-American selection. A four-time All-GSC and All-South Central Region pick who led UNA to a 135-19 record from 2000-03. She led Division II in assists twice and set two national records.

ANNA BONDARENKO 2002

American Volleyball Coaches Association Second-Team

Selected a second-team AllAmerican as a junior in 2002 after helping lead UNA to a 30-5 overall record. Averaged 3.67 kills per game and had a .365 hitting percentage. Had 429 total kills, 67 assists, 330 digs and 95 total blocks on the year.

Selected All-American as a junior and senior. A four-time All-GSC and All-South Central Region pick who led UNA to a 135-19 record from 2000-03, including the '03 national championship.

A two-time All-American who helped lead the Lions to a 95-14 record in three seasons. Led the nation with 1,910 assists as a junior and fi nished her career with a 13.33 assist-per-game average.

Became UNA's 10th All-American after earning third-team honors in 2006. Helped lead the Lions to a 125-19 record in four seasons. Was also a fi rst team All-South Central Region selection as a senior.

WHITNEY SANDERS 2008

American Volleyball Coaches Association Second-Team

Earned All-America honors as a senior in 2008 after leading the Lions in kills (4.22 per set) and blocks (1.04 per set). Was selected fi rst team All-GSC and fi rst team AllSouth Region. Was also named the Gulf South Conference East Division Player of the Year.

ALISON JACOBS 2009

American Volleyball Coaches Association Third-Team

Was a third-team AVCA selection after earning fi rst team All-South Region honors from Daktronics and AVCA. Also named fi rst team All-Gulf South Conference and was the GSC East Division Player of the Year while leading UNA to a return trip to the NCAA Tournament.

American Volleyball Coaches Association Second-Team

Earned second-team All-America honors after receiving fi rst-team All-South Region honors from AVCA. Was also a second team all-region selection by Daktronics. Other honors included NCAA South Region all-tournament, fi rst team All-Gulf South Conference, GSC all-tournament and three-time GSC Player of the Week.

JESSICA AUSTIN 2017

American Volleyball Coaches Association Third-Team

Was a third-team AVCA selection after earning All-Gulf South Conference and All-South Region honors from D2CCA and AVCA. Led the GSC in hitting percentage as the Lions won back-to-back conference titles in 2015 and 2016 and made three straight NCAA Tournament trips from 2015-17.
