Learning Objectives
The purpose of this meeting is to provide Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) an up-to -date refresher on current research relevant to the practice of anesthesia.
Identify preoperative assessment and optimization strategies for patients with PAH
Review the safety of ultrasound
The goals of the CEU activity will be accomplished with lectures and discussion. The ultimate goal is to provide participants information to improve the quality and safety in the care of surgical patients requiring anesthesia.
Introduce all the new and review the old oral anticoagulants in common use today
Discuss strategies in avoiding litigation
Discuss the rewards of service in the nurse anesthesia profession
Discuss ethical issues surrounding perioperative DNR orders
Describe the effects of anesthesia on cerebral and spinal cord physiology
Refund Policy Registrants calling at least one month in advance of the program date will receive a full refund of the conference registration price. Cancellations received one month and two weeks prior to the program will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received with two weeks of the program start date. All cancellations must be in writing (fax, mail or email).
