(After all we almost got famous last year when we bet on Maximum Security.) Foaled at Wolver Hill Farm near Middleburg and bred by the late C. Oliver Iselin III, father of the always delightful Julie Iselin Diehl. The colt by Hard Spun out of Arista sold as a weanling for $100,000 and as a yearling for $200,000 to Jim Bakke and Gerry Isbister along with trainer Dale Romans. At odds of up to 50-1, alas not this time.
