In addition to this you will receive an hourly holiday allowance of 19.3% bringing your total hourly rate to £11.81, you will therefore not be paid for any annual leave days that you may take. Should you work a 9-5 shift, you will be expected to take a lunch break of 45 minutes and this will be deducted from your salary regardless of whether you take the break or not. Embed the importance of student representation to course reps to enhance the delivery of training.

Work alongside a team of student trainers to deliver training to course reps in pairs, across disciplines, levels, and mode of study, throughout the academic year as needed. JOB DESCRIPTION To support in the delivery of Undeb Bangors training offer and deliver course representative (course reps) training to student cohorts during intake periods throughout the year as needed. This will predominantly be October with the potential for re freshers training and mid-year intakes

Work between 35-45 hours to develop your skills, deliver up to 6 training sessions, and take part in reporting measures following training students.

Attend essential training before the beginning of the term to develop your skills and become familiar with and confident with the training programme

Prep your training session in advance and arrive at each session if in person at least 20 minutes before it is due to start and ensuring the space you have used is how it was found. Report to the Student Voice Team with any complaints or re emerging themes of concern or thought. Sign-post students to the relevant department as necessary (mental health services, money support) if issues arise in training or if reps contact you outside of training. Uphold Students’ Union policies and ideals to ensure that equality and diversity in at the forefront of your work Ensure all activities are accessible and students with disabilities, learning difficulties, or special requirements are supported. Take part in insight activities with the Students’ Union to develop the role of Course Rep Trainer. 10 hours training split between sessions and days. 20 25 hours of course rep training, preparation for training, and brief updates for the Students’ Union during first term, predominantly October/November depending on your availability. 5 10 hours of training, preparation, and brief updates for the Students’ Union in the second term for smaller intake periods Opportunity for other work throughout the year The specifics Essential Desirable
