10 Best Sets at 1. Pierce The Veil
Pierce The Veil’s electrifying set featured confetti canons and smoke. Their fans sang along to every word and the band reciprocated the love with a great performance.
2. August Burns Red
No one looks as angry as Jake Luhrs does on stage, but seeing that much emotion from someone as they perform was phenomenal to watch. August Burns Red had one of the morst thrilling sets at warped this year.

6. Miss May I
Miss May I knew how to get the crowd involved in their performance. They satisfied old fans and lured in new ones by encouraging them to crowd surf. Their stage presence was great and made Miss May I a must see set.
7. Bebe Rexha
8. Have Mercy
While Bebe Rexha brought a pop flare and killer vocals to the punk rock summer camp, Have Mercy brought the emotion. They incorporated humor in between songs, but still maintained performed flawlessly.

Levi Benton
Miss May I released their new record Deathless
on August 7th. They have been hard at work all summer on the Vans Warped Tour putting on a killer set and promoting their new record. We caught up with Levi Benton at the Hartford, CT date of the summer festival!
UP: What has been the highlight of this Warped Tour for you? I think the biggest highlight is just every show has been awesome. We closed in Ventura and it was our first time closing. The crowd was awesome. We were playing after Pierce The Veil, which is like a huge thing and we were like “oh crap this is going to suck. We’re a metal band”. The crowd was awesome and huge and they stuck around. It was great. UP: Is there anything that Warped Tour doesn’t have that you wish it had? I wish it had shower trucks. UP: What has been your best moment from tour ever? Probably would be when we got to open up Download Festival. That would be my favorite. It was like 60,000 people. It was the biggets show we have ever played UP: What has been your worst moment on tour? Our second tour our van blew up and we got stranded so we had to take a short bus home. It was a nightmare. UP: Was that towards the end of the tour? Yeah it was on the way home. It was the worst thing ever UP: What are your three tour essentials? Orange Juice, trail mix, and an extra pillow. You have to do the one between the legs.

“It has been pretty surreal.” - LYNN GUNN

UP: What has been the highlight of this Warped Tour for you? We keep getting bumped up to main stage. It has been pretty surreal. UP: You have so many more fans this year than you did last year when you played a handful of dates, We only did two weeks on the Ernie Ball stage last year. Big jump from last year to this year. UP: Are there any bands on the lineup that you hadn’t listened to before that you were surprised about? We had heard of them, but I really like citizen. The boys are big fans of them so we keep watching them. There is a band called Night Riots, they are really good. Underdog Press | 18
UP: Is there anything that Warped Tour doesn’t have that you wish it had? A daily newspaper. I wish they had something they handed out to buses and vans every morning. It would be like this is the temperature, these are things to do around the area, and stuff like that. Things that are going on in the world because we have no idea what’s going on. A newspaper would be kind of cool. UP: Any post tour plans set yet? Yeah. We’re pretty much booked until April. We’ve got Reading and Leeds in the UK, Circa Survive—we’re going to Australia with them, Then we have a bunch of other stuff. (PVRIS are hitting the road with Bring Me The Horizon this fall!) UP: What are your three tour essentials? My laptop, dry shampoo, and peanut butter. UP: What is your favorite food on the road? I love like authentic Mexican food. The good stuff like carne asada and pico de gallo. UP: What has been your worst moment on tour ever? There was one night where I got a flat tire while we were driving. We were driving through Canada, it was 3 in the morning and we didn’t have cell service. It was a pretty sketchy area and it was snowing. We had to figure it out on our own. UP: What has been your best moment from tour? There’s a lot from every tour so it’s hard to pick. There’s one moment from a show that we played on like one of our first tours where a fan took me to Disney world. It was like maybe an hour before our set. I met her outside and she was like “yo I could take you to Disney right now”. I decided to get in a strangers car and she took us to Disneyland. We went on Space Mountain and she drove me back just in time. We had like ten minutes to spare. It was pretty badass. UP: Any last word? We’ve got a record out called White Noise. Go pick it up!
