Conference - “Biomass – Fuel of the Future“

Biomass as the fuel of the future was the theme of today's conference organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the frame of the project “Bosnia and Herzegovina Biomass Energy for Employment and Energy Security”, financed by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. The conference brought together stakeholders in the wood-processing industry, decision makers, public forest enterprises, as well as potential investors. Success stories and good practice examples were presented at the conference related to the use of wood biomass from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The conference also served as a platform for presentation of positive experiences from the Czech Republic.
