CSI COMPANIES COURT
Made public June 7, 2022 at a press conference held inside the UNF Arena, North Florida Athletics announced the plans for the CSI Companies Court seen above.
While not the rst time that the UNF Arena oor has received a redesign, it is the rst time in school history that a whole new oor has been placed. The previous wood oor was the original surface that was included in the construction of the UNF Arena back in January of 1993.
The Court features UNF’s primary colors, navy and gray, while showcasing multiple unique qualities to the UNF brand and identity.
Highlighted in the middle is the North Florida banner logo and a cutout of the state of Florida with a star symbolizing Jacksonville’s location, as well as the local connection between North Florida and CSI Companies. The oor is known as the CSI Companies Court, and it will feature the CSI Companies’ logo, along with UNF’s navy on the baselines and sidelines. Along the sidelines are a pair of Osprey talons, adding to the unique air featured on the court.
Construction of the oor began in early June and was completed in mid-October. The new design and playing surface were made possible by the partnership between UNF and the Jacksonville-based CSI Companies, the largest collaboration to date for the athletic department.
The partnership is a seven-year, $2.1 million agreement that features facility enhancements in addition to the new court. Other projects such as the construction of the Bank of England Suite and Hayt Osprey Outlook, as well as upgrades to the lighting and sound systems also accompany this partnership and construction of the CSI Companies Court.
BANK OF ENGLAND HOSPITALITY SUITE
The Bank of England Hospitality Suite, seen below, provides UNF Athletic donors an opportunity to take in a premier game-day experience at the UNF Arena. The suite is also open to other UNF events and gatherings external to North Florida.
Also included in the suite is the Brix Taphouse Bar, serving as the centerpiece to the suite.
The John & Gerri Hayt Osprey Outlook is the balcony area extending o the front of the
In addition to the naming right partners, the Arena enhancements are being made possible by generous contributions from Travis and Deidra Shore, Chris and Heather Patterson, Chuck and Jennifer Ged, John Gol, Robert and Tammie Talley, Scott and Jennings Clingan, Mark and Micah Cagnassola, Dwight and Christine Cooper, Mark and Becky Walden, Bono’s Pit Bar-B-Q and Two Titmice Foundation.
OTHER UPGRADES
Also included in the UNF Arena upgrades is a new sound system, upgraded LED lighting, new seating in the student section on the east baseline and upgraded o ces for the North Florida external operations department and women’s basketball program.
