All-purpose Rodent Control Products

Despite the large number of natural predators that mice and rats have, these rodents are among the most successful creatures because of their flexibility – immediately behind humans. To control them, scientists are constantly developing new methods and baits. Here at Unichem, we have a strong research & development team and our product portfolio includes a broad selection of baits for effective rodent control in various situations.

We offer four different formulations: soft bait, grain bait, pellets, and wax blocks.

As the most palatable and the most effective, soft bait is especially suited for indoor rodent control. It contains flavours, flavour enhancers, and oils, making it extremely attractive for rodents in warehouses of food products.

Indoor rodent control is also possible using grain bait, which is designed specifically for the indoor control of smaller rodent populations, and pellets, which contain a cereal mixture and are highly attractive for mice and rats, and can even be used for eliminating their nests and burrows.

Wax blocks are better suited for the elimination of rodents around buildings or in sewers. The paraffin wax gives the bait higher resistance to moisture and temperature differences, while the added preservatives prevent the formation of mould on the product.

Unichem offers two different active substances: bromadiolone and brodifacoum.

The most versatile active ingredient is bromadiolone, which is offered under the brand RATIMOR PLUS. Designed for the elimination of large rodent populations.

Brodifacoum, offered under the brand RATIMOR BRODIFACOUM, is the most powerful active ingredient. Intended for eliminating large and long-term rodent infestations in buildings, this is single feed bait, meaning that rodents need to feed on it only once to become poisoned.

Trotz der großen Anzahl von natürlichen Feinden, mit denen Mäuse und Ratten konfrontiert sind, gehören diese Nagetiere aufgrund ihrer Anpassungsfähigkeit zu den erfolgreichsten Lebewesen – unmittelbar nach dem Menschen. Um sie zu beherrschen, entwickeln Wissenschaftler ständig neue Methoden und Köder für ihre Unterdrückung. Auch bei Unichem arbeitet ein starkes Entwicklungsteam daran, der Marke zu ermöglichen, eine große Auswahl an Ködern für die wirksame Bekämpfung von Nagetieren unter verschiedenen Bedingungen anzubieten.

Davon gibt es vier verschiedene Formen: weicher Köder, Getreideköder, Pellets und Paraffinblöcke.

Der leckerste und gleichzeitig auch der wirksamste ist der weiche Köder, der zur Bekämpfung von Nagetieren im Raum besonders gut geeignet ist. Aufgrund des Gehalts an Geschmacksstoffen, Aromaverstärkern und Ölen zeigt er sich sehr anlockend für Nagetiere und ist selbst in Lebensmittellagerräumen wirksam.

In Innenräumen können vor allem kleinere Populationen von Nagetieren auch mit Getreideködern bekämpft werden, während die Pellets dank ihrer für Mäuse und Ratten sehr anlockenden Getreidemischung nützlich sind.

Zur Bekämpfung von Nagetieren in der Umgebung von Gebäuden oder in Abwasserkanälen sind Paraffinblöcke am besten geeignet. Aufgrund des Gehalts an Paraffinwachs ist der Köder besonders gegen Feuchtigkeit und Temperaturunterschiede beständig. Durch seine zusätzlichen Konservierungsstoffe wird die Bildung von Schimmelpilz verhindert.

In Unichem bieten wir Köder mit zwei verschiedenen Wirkstoffen an: Bromadiolon und Brodifacoum.

Der vielseitigste Wirkstoff ist Bromadiolon, der unter der Marke RATIMOR PLUS im Angebot steht. Dieser ist zur Bekämpfung großer Nagetierpopulationen geeignet.

Der am stärksten wirkende Wirkstoff heißt Brodifacoum und wird unter der Marke RATIMOR BRODIFACOUM angeboten. Er dient der Bekämpfung von großen, seit langem in Objekten anwesenden Nagetierpopulationen. Weil das Nagetier schon nach einmaliger Einnahme vergiftet wird, ist dieser Wirkstoff als "Einzelfutter" (Single-Feed) Köder eingestuft.

Unsere Köder werden auch von Profis weltweit verwendet.

At Unichem, we know that no matter how good the product is - if it does not have the right marketing support it cannot do well. That is why marketing activities must ensure mediabound support for its products. Most of the marketing materials are based on educational content, which aims at helping the customers decide which product to choose and how to use it appropriately.

We also take care for the sales outlets and we make sure our products are presented appropriately. Each sales outlet has its own products position plan and layout planogram for our products.

Each year we prepare many promotional materials supporting the products at sales outlets, special promotions, workshops and other sales and educational events. We provide attractive product displays, specially designed stands and racks, forex panels, posters, promotional fliers and booklets and many other materials exposing special sales activities, news, and leading products.

Bei Unichem sind wir uns bewusst, dass selbst ein hervorragendes Produkt ohne angemessene Marketingunterstützung seine Nutzer nicht erreichen kann. Unsere Marketingabteilung sorgt für eine entsprechende Unterstützung der Produktkommunikation. Die meisten Marketing-Materialien basieren auf Bildungsinhalten, um die Kaufentscheidungen unserer Kunden zu erleichtern und sie bei der richtigen Verwendung ausgewählter Produkte zu unterstützen.

Besides the staff at sales outlets, also special Unichems´ trained team takes care of the product arrangements at shelves and displays. We also organize promotions all over Slovenia and Croatia to support the sales personnel with the professional team to ensure that the use of the products and the products itself are appropriately presented.

On top of the sales activities, the Unichem team also takes care for the PR and advertising promotions in various printed, digital and online media. We are publishing PR articles in most known Slovene magazines and newspaper supplements, while we are also present in radio contact shows during the peak of the gardening season. Our video advice is published in popular Slovenian TV gardening shows and on internet sites. The uniqueness of the application is that it is based on the size of the garden, members of the household and their favorite vegetables. The garden plan can be quickly and easily drawn considering the rules of crop rotation, best neighbors, and mixed crops. Above all this the user benefits also with the gardening reminders, planting calendar and notifications of diseases and pests endangering the plants and can grow its own, healthy vegetable.

Besides the domestic market, Unichem focuses also on export.
