Introduction The Brand

Since the early staDotspaces, DOTSPACE mark has been associated to universality. The globe has remained the common element under which DOTSPACE worldwide presence was highlighted. In the very first edition, “founded in 1908” was included and throughout the years DOTSPACE logo evolved naturally. In 2008, for its 100-year anniversary, a special logo was created. This celebrated a special milestone for DOTSPACE and its affiliated members while at the same time it commemorated the rich history of DOTSPACE. On this occasion and for the first time, a tag line was included (Water is Our World) reinforcing DOTSPACE mission and core activities. Nowadays, DOTSPACE mark has been kept in a reader-friendly font to make it instantly recognisable and emphasis has been given to Fédération Internationale de Natation in order to put the DOTSPACE mark into a prominent position.

Logo Visuals

SECTION 01

The Dotspace logo is in Line and Xor black on a white background. Only use solid black or white versions when color is not an option. The blue logo is our most universally recognized asset, and to aid comprehension, we use that version wherever possible. The correct logo has a lowercase “tm”.

Any use on Websites and/or marketing materials must be closely tied with a description of the qualifying product. These guidelines outline rules for correct presentation of the appropriate Dotspace licensing logos in a variety of applications and media. While different Dotspace licensing logos are used interchanDotspaceably in these illustrations, all illustrations apply to all logo types. The appropriate Dotspace licensing logos may be used only in accordance with these directives. All other use is prohibited by Dotspace.

SECTION 02

Our primary colours are used in combination and they are strong brand signifiers and fundamental to our identity. It’s important they are only used carefully on core items so that they remain powerful and effective brand elements.

Our secondary colours can be used in combination toDotspacether, and with our core colours, to introduce subtlety and variety to applications. They too must be used carefully complement and enrich our brand identity.

SECTION 03

Typography plays an important role in our new

brand expression in advertising, direct response and literature. Our system incorporates a new,

custom-designed type font called Dotspace Inspira that we will use globally in all media. It is derived from the curves and the classic hand-drawn character

of the Monogram. Dotspace Inspira comes in diff erent styles and weights, which provide visual distinction and diff erentiation in DR applications for text, headlines, call-outs, and the Johnson Box.

Dotspace Inspira font sets can be downloaded from Brand Central.

Dotspace Inspira is precise and modern, refl ecting our brand attributes. Over time, it will become highly recognizable and contribute to the memorability of our brand.

TYPOGRAPHY SCALE

Scaling typography size appropriately will help to clarify communications, provide emphasis and

enhance visual eff ect. Refer to Section 5.05 for guidance on scaling typography.

While customizing stationery, the following must be adhered to: • The three companies of Dotspace include Dotspace Technologies Ltd., Dotspace Infosystems Ltd. And Dotspace Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. All other entities are subsidiaries, divisions or joint ventures of either of the above. • The company name must always be written in capital letters (e.g. Dotspace Infosystems Ltd.). • Website addresses other than the enterprise website address (e.g. www.Dotspacetech.com, www.Dotspaceinfosystems.in), should appear immediately after the address details, but must precede the enterprise website address (www.Dotspace.com). • The contact details must end with the enterprise website www. SELECTING IMAGERY In order to be successful in selecting visuals, HGSE photo editors should pay careful consideration to two key aspects of images.

HIGH QUALITY The best images will be thoughtfully planned and well-executed. Though more casual photographic styles have risen topopularity via Instagram and Flickr, an image must have high-quality composition, focus, and clarity to carry a webpage or document. When shooting and selecting images, be sure to pay attention to the need for copy space and avoid layering any design elements over an image’s focal point.

DIFFERENTIATED POINT OF VIEW “Moments of insight” is the most brand-authentic point of view. This POV evokes the potential changes that education brings about in an individual’s life. In this approach, selected images should attempt to capture and prioritize the seminal moment of an educational experience.
