“The ‘cradle-to-grave’ approach involves a lifecycle of a material or product from its creation to its disposal. ... Therefore, the lifecycle assessment is an important role to guide the selection of materials for sustainability options”.

re·use use again or more than once.

re·pur·pose adapt for use in a different purpose.

pur·pose the reason for which something exists or is done, made, used, etc.

14

RE:PURPOSE - 1.1 -

Things that no longer serve their purpose or failed to do so from the beginning of their existence should not be carelessly thrown away, but repurposed to serve a new goal.

15

- 1.2 -

An object should be designed to execute a function, i.e. have literal meaning to it. If not, it should serve its users as an alert to complete a function.

16

RE:SERVE - 2.1 -

No object should be thrown away if it is still intact and functioning. The owner has no right to purchase a substitute, unless was given a permission when donating the unwanted object.

17

- 2.2 -

An object must meet certain conditions to be donated. Time period used for is one of the conditions. These conditions must not be achieved artificially.

18

RE:SPONSIBLE - 3.1 -

One should not exceed a limit of “One 12oz jar of Trash” per day. If done so, one should keep the excess for the rest of the day to fill the following day’s normative.

19

- 3.2 -

Any kind of discarded substance must be properly disposed either through Recycling, Reusing, or Composting. Nothing should go into a landfill bin.

20

- 3.3 -

Before recycling or composting, check the discarded object for required properties. If the object does not fit those requirements, i.e. cannot be recycled or composed, the object should be kept by the owner.

21

- 3.4 -

No discarded object or substance should be left in a public space, somebody else’s property, or outside the owner’s property. If done so, the culprit will be given an administrative penalty of 3 to 17 “No trash” days.

22

- 3.5 -

Any non-food scarps, or leftover material, should be donated to a local storage facility, if no longer needed by the owner. Everything in the Storage Booth should be available for free. No one has the right to reserve objects from the Storage Booth. The facility operates on a “firstcome, first-served” basis. 23
