Leading green university

In 2019 the University of Bedfordshire was ranked 8th out of 154 UK universities in the People & Planet University ‘Green League’. We have also been awarded Platinum certification by EcoCampus two years in a row.

We have invested £180 million in our campus in the past five years, including a £40 million investment in our STEM building, which opened in September 2019.

Scholarships and bursaries

We understand that many students are concerned about the cost of continuing their university studies so we support you to access government loans for postgraduate students. For Beds alumni, there is our taught-degree 20% tuition-fee discount.
