Our investment in professional standard student focused facilities gives you the perfect place to study.

Postgraduate Centre Our large international postgraduate community benefits from our multi million pound Postgraduate and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Centre. This exciting facility features innovative learning spaces, two Harvardstyle lecture theatres, hi-tech IT and AV equipment, as well as dedicated social spaces for our postgraduate students. Butterfield Our Biomedical students benefit from brand new simulation labs complete with fully functional theatre and a clinic environment in this additional Luton Campus. Bedford Campus Bedford boasts an impressive collection of modern facilities. A new three storey building that offers students high quality teaching spaces, informal learning spaces, lecture theatres and a new student services centre is set to open its doors by the end of December 2014. It is part of a £25m campus enhancement project.
University Campus Milton Keynes The campus features two special purpose electronics and telecommunications laboratories which have specialist equipment for our future engineers. A number of Business Related courses are also offered at this campus. UCMK also has a large computer lab and an extensive Learning Resource Centre. Aylesbury Our Nursing and Healthcare students are based here and benefit from purpose built facilities and professional quality equipment.

Student Internship Scheme (SIS) The International Office runs the Internship scheme for International students. Placements range from two weeks to two months and may be voluntary or paid. That’s why the University has created a core programme of timetabled communication skills classes, which all international students must attend in their first year of study. We know how important it is, both during your time at University and in your career afterwards, to continually develop and enhance your intercultural communication skills. Faculty of Creative Arts, Technologies & Science The Faculty of Creative Arts, Technologies & Science is based at our Luton, Bedford and Milton Keynes campuses, and delivers courses to produce world-class practitioners for the sciences and the creative industries. Media Arts and Production Students have access to state of the art studio space in our £5.5 million media centre and a media hub where students can borrow the latest digital equipment. Many of our teachers have worked as media professionals in journalism, broadcasting, film, dance and theatre. Our research was commended as “world-leading” in the latest Research Assessment Exercise (RAE 2008). Computer Science and Technology Students learn from PhD qualified staff who hold Chartered status with professional bodies and whose teaching is underpinned by real world experience. The research and consultancy work undertaken by our academics has been commended as “internationally excellent” in the latest Research Assessment Exercise (RAE 2008).
Biological and Biomedical Sciences The Department of Life Sciences has grown through our investment in STEM areas – Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics. We offer generous financial support and Merit scholarships for International students. When you are thinking of studying in the UK there are two main costs that you need to consider: • Course tuition fees • Living costs We know that combined fees and living expenses represent a large investment and here at the University of Bedfordshire we take that commitment very seriously indeed. That’s why we offer a wide range of fee discounts for early payment and scholarships to make studying at the Bedfordshire as affordable as possible. All International students who are joining a full-time course of study and who pay the full fee on or before registration could receive a fee discount of up to £500 for undergraduates and £1000 for Postgraduates. Merit Scholarships Full time undergraduate students joining year one or accepted for advanced entry into level 2 of their course will be given an additional academic merit scholarship for the first year of their studies only. The level of the award will be based on the previous scholastic achievements. • £500 for students who have achieved 60% in high school (or equivalent) • £1000 for students studying at University Campus Milton Keynes who have achieved 60% in high school (or equivalent) Postgraduate Taught excluding MBA Academic Merit Scholarship • £500 for 60% mark in their first degree or equivalent for students applying to study at Luton or Bedford campus • £1000 for 60% mark in their first degree or equivalent for students applying to study at University Campus Milton Keynes MBA Academic Merit Scholarship • £500 for students who have achieved 60% in their first degree or equivalent

Entry and Language Requirements
The University of Bedfordshire offers a large range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses for International students so please visit our website, before making your decision.
There are different ways to make an application, all the guidelines are on our website. Please read through the application requirements carefully as it is important to provide all supporting documentation along with a completed application form.
Our standard English language requirements • IELTS overall score of 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each element • Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) – score of between 52 and 54 with minimum of 51 in each band

Please be aware that some of our courses such as PGCE teaching degrees and specific medical courses are unfortunately not available for international students.
