INDUSTRY TALK: ALISON DAVIS

Executive Producer Anna Davis visited us to share her personal experience of working in the television industry for over 30 years.

Starting out in a secretarial job at the BBC, Alison moved up the industry ladder from production assistant to producer, researcher and occasional script editor for longrunning dramas like East Enders and Casualty. She has produced television dramas for the BBC, Channel 4 and Netflix She is now an Executive Producer at the BBC and has most recently worked on GET EVEN Season 2 which is now available on BBC iPlayer and Netflix.

Alison talked us through the development of some remarkably successful shows including Netflix's Stranger Things, walking us through the initial pitch documents and internal storyboards, series proposals and other accompanying internal documentation between writers and broadcasting/production houses.
