ANIMATION WORKSHOP

Sophie Williamson recently visited the course to lead a stop-motion animation workshop ahead of the end of the term Within the session, Sophie imparted knowledge she had collected from her training and personal practice. Our producers gained key knowledge of the stop-motion animation industry along with behind-the-scenes examples of projects from Sophie's productions and large-scale productions like that of leading stop-motion production company Aardman Animations (responsible for Wallace and Gromit!).

Our Creative Producers then had the chance to learn and make their own wireframe puppets and claymation characters to animate during the session Sophie showed them the editing required for Premier Pro to help bring these animations to life

By the end of the session, each of our producers had a short film or sequence to be proud of - and plenty of new skills too!
