Imagine having a medical condition that requires you to drink two liters of cleanwater per day,and then waking up in the middle of the night to find your well has run dry. That's exactly what happened the night of July 22 to Soulsbyville resident Dan Machado, who is currently awaiting a heart transplant. County officials say about 180 private wells and six springs have reportedly run dry since last fall, affecting nearly 300 households.
