The English for Academic Purposes program is designed for students wishing to increase their English proficiency specifically for use in university settings. The program helps learners to develop their ability to critically think, organize ideas, write coherently and effectively, analyze reading texts, elaborately discuss academic topics, as well as many other important academic skills. Extensive practice with academic material will dramatically increase student chances for success in academic settings. More importantly, built into the program is a testing preparation component for those students wishing to continue their education abroad and for those who must satisfy other language requirements.
