Through Leaders Circle, everyone can be a leader in giving. United Way’s Leaders Circle recognizes members of our caring community who contribute a percentage of their income to support the work of United Way. Leaders Circle Membership Because it includes people at all income levels, Leaders Circle acknowledges that one’s commitment to caring is not measured by the size of the gift but in giving to the best of one’s ability. Leaders Circle Membership Benefits Leaders Circle members receive the Community Caring Card in recognition of their gift. The Community Caring Card is an exciting incentive program that provides benefits at participating restaurants, entertainment venues and retail stores throughout central Ohio.
Key Club Key Club is a unique partnership of individuals within the African American community who are inspired by what they can accomplish together and commit to a leadership role in giving. The mission of Key Club is to advance United Way of Central Ohio’s work of improving lives and building stronger communities. Key Club pursues its mission by promoting the power of United Way’s community impact, by enhancing collaborative relationships within our community and by maximizing the fundraising potential of central Ohio’s African American community. Key Club Membership All African American households that invest $1,000 or more in United Way of Central Ohio may be recognized as Key Club members. Key Club Membership Benefits Key Club members are invited to participate in special members-only networking events, professional development opportunities, educational forums and community service projects.
Young Leadership Group (YLG) Young Leadership Group (YLG) was founded in 1991 by a group of young donors who wanted to make a difference in our community by encouraging their peers to join them in supporting United Way of Central Ohio. YLG recognizes the member’s commitment to improving lives and building stronger communities in central Ohio through their personal philanthropy. YLG Membership Individuals or couples age 45 or younger who contribute a household gift of $2,500 or more to United Way of Central Ohio may be recognized as Young Leadership Group members. YLG members contribute over $2 million each year to improve lives in our community. YLG members build their professional and social networks, develop as leaders in the community, and connect with established business and community leaders. Young Leadership Group Membership Benefits Young Leadership Group members are invited to attend events each month including the YLG Roundtable Series, luncheons, family events, Signature Service Event, YLG Recognition Event, and other special member and guest functions throughout the year.
Cinquefoil Fellowship The Cinquefoil Fellowship is the latest addition to our vitally important leadership giving groups at United Way of Central Ohio. It is based on five core values - appreciation, recognition, education, advocacy and inclusion. Cinquefoil Fellowship Membership The Cinquefoil Fellowship recognizes individuals and couples who contribute between $5,000 and $9,999 per year to United Way of Central Ohio. Cinquefoil Fellowship Membership Benefits Cinquefoil Members benefit from special communications and events, including a kick-off in the fall and a spring celebration. Cinquefoil Fellowship donors are recognized for their ongoing commitment to caring through additional special events, activities, and publications throughout the year.
Tocqueville Society The Tocqueville Society is a special partnership of individuals who are inspired by what they can accomplish together and commit to a leadership role in giving. Their generosity, compassion and dedication make a real impact on the lives of people in our community. Tocqueville Membership Tocqueville membership is open to all members of the community who invest at the following levels: Tocqueville Society ($10,000 – $24,999) Tocqueville Vingt-Cinq Society ($25,000 – $99,999) Tocqueville Premiere Society ($100,000 +) Tocqueville Society Membership Benefits Tocqueville Society members are recognized in the national Leadership Register and invited to participate in special gatherings and attend select social events. Members are invited to networking opportunities including the Tocqueville Arts and Culture Series as well as various members-only luncheons and special events.
The Society of 1885 Members of The Society of 1885 have included the United Way of Central Ohio in their estate planning. Whether through a will, a trust or other planned giving instrument, gifts demonstrate a commitment to the mission of United Way, both today and for the future. The Society of 1885 serves as a tribute both to those citizens of 1885 who organized the first community effort to raise funds for human service organizations and to the citizens today who continue to support lasting change in central Ohio. The Society of 1885 Membership The Society of 1885 recognizes individuals and couples who have arranged for a gift to United Way of Central Ohio through a will, trust, insurance policy, a life-income arrangement, or other planned giving instrument. The Society of 1885 Membership Benefits Members of The Society of 1885 receive an invitation to an annual special event, an appreciation gift, a lifetime subscription to United Way of Central Ohio’s newsletter, “Living United,” and a certificate of recognition.
