Pacesetter Checklist To be classified as a Pacesetter organization and be eligible for a Pacesetter Award, your organization must meet 6 of the following 10 criteria listed below. 1. Participate in the Pacesetter Games. 2. Have your CEO/President show their support for the campaign by writing a letter or sending an email to all employees, in addition to attending your company/organization’s campaign meetings and events. 3. Personalize employee pledge cards. 4. Host a leadership meeting. 5. Organize an employee rally with a United Way speaker. 6. Have an agency representative speak at your employee rally with the United Way speaker. 7. Show the United Way campaign video at your rally or event. 8. Plan an employee tour of a Partner Agency or attend a United Way LIVE Bus Tour. 9. Have 100% employee education about United Way of Central Oklahoma. 10. Thank your employees for their participation and contributions to the campaign!

Sample United Way Rally Agenda: Your co-workers will enjoy learning about United Way’s work in the community. This meeting makes your job as an Employee Campaign Coordinator (ECC) much easier. Here’s the rundown for a spirited pep rally to kick-off your workplace campaign.

Leadership Giving Association U Become a member of the Leadership Giving Association and maximize your impact. Membership begins with an annual gift of $500 or more. You will receive all the benefits reserved for our top donors. A leadership gift truly demonstrates commitment to lasting change in central Oklahoma.
Emerging Leaders Young professionals who pledge $500 or more annually have the opportunity to join United Way Emerging Leaders. Their mission is to cultivate adults under 40 to become the next generation of United Way Leaders by engaging them with peers, encouraging leadership growth, and exposing individuals to volunteer opportunities.
Women’s Leadership Society The United Way of Central Oklahoma Women’s Leadership Society unites women their time, talent, and resources - into a powerful network of individuals devoted to enhancing and strengthening intergenerational opportunities within our community. Membership requires an annual donation (combined with spouse or individual) of $2,500. The membership includes events throughout the year for networking, education, and volunteering.
