Given several picture illustrations of the three different types of burns, the student will discriminate between first, second and third degree burns by grouping them according to degree within two minutes. Given a complete description of the qualities of a mammal and several illustrations of various animals including mammals, birds, rodents, fish and insects, classifies unencountered illustrations by naming the mammals upon presentation of the illustrations. Given five sets of scores numbering thirty or more, demonstrates the ability to compute the mean, median, mode, range and standard deviation without the use of a calculator at 90% accuracy. Given a general statement of the rules, concepts and principles on the subject of stage lighting, the student will generate three lighting designs by charting the lighting sequences of three one -act plays. When asked verbally by the teacher, states the five main themes of The Grapes of Wrath, and connects each character to the development of each theme in writing. At a swimming pool under trained supervision, executes four of the following five strokes: the American Crawl, the back stroke, the side stroke, the breast stroke, or the Butterfly by swimming each the full length of the pool in 45 seconds or less. When confronted with choices of cuisine to dine on, chooses a cheeseburger, large fries, and a Pepsi, by purchasing the meal at a cost of no more than$3.00.

Evaluation Item 1. Study the following pictures of burns and group them into one of the following three categories: first, second, or third degree burns. You have two minutes to complete this exercise. 2. Of the following pictures that will be shown to you, you are to tell me which of them are pictures of mammals and which are not.

3. For each of the following sets of scores, please compute the mean, median, mode, range and standard deviation without the use of a calculator.

4. Students, for the midterm, each of you are to submit lighting diagrams of three one-act plays. You may choose any play found in the video library.

5. Students, your final will be to state the

five main themes found in The Grapes of Wrath and to elaborate on each characters role in the development of the theme in writing. 6. Suzie, to become a certified intermediate swimmer, you must swim four of the following five strokes: the American Crawl, the back stroke, the side stroke, the breast stroke or the Butterfly the length of the pool in 45 seconds or less. 7.
