A beach
A beach https://www.visitscotland.com I love to go to the beach. I go there as often as I can. The beach is located in Dumfries and Galloway, in the north part of Scotland. I have been going there for a long time now. The first time that I went there, 22 years ago, it was a desolated beach. I used to go there with my family, now I travel every time that I can with my friends. During summer, we spend most of our time sunbathing and in the ocean. At night we try to go to the nearest restaurant open, in Gatehouse of Fleet, the nearest town. On the weekend we try to go to the campsite to roast some marshmallows with chocolate. It’s very convenient since it’s next to the beach. This last summer I went to Rock Pools. There you can watch a lot of different sea creatures such as whales and dolphins. During winter we use life jackets to swim in the ocean. The water is usually calm and we can spend a lot of time in it if we are warm.
When the weather is not too windy, I can take my Caprice to go sailing and to get some fish. We usually try to go to the north part of the island and get as many different fish as we can. Then, we take them home and we cook them to make a great feast for all of our friends. Recently, some people brought to the beach some boards for sail surfing. That’s a great sport to try, but it can be a little difficult to stand on the board. Last summer, I spent one whole day trying to stand straight on the board, but it was almost impossible. I had so many bruises all over my body after that! The beach is so beautiful and there are so many amazing places that all the popular artists go there. The scenery is amazing and they can sell their paintings all over the world! It’s such as peaceful and quiet place that I want to return every single time!
