The School of Economics and Business was the first Spanish institution to offer bilingual degrees within the branches of Economics and Business. Bilingual programs combine the official degree in Business Administration and Management or Economics with the requirement of taking at least 50% of subjects in English.
The School, in collaboration with the Careers Office, endeavors to support our students through the process of designing their professional career by providing them with job opportunities and the tools and resources they need to secure employment.
Every year, companies such as Amazon, Procter & Gamble, McKinsey, Deloitte, KPMG, Adidas, PepsiCo, BBVA, Santander Bank, Morgan Stanley, Volkswagen and IBM, as well as major banks and most auditing and consultancy firms conduct recruitment processes to offer our students employment and internships.
Students have the option of undertaking two exchange programs, one of which is mandatory. The School offers a wide and carefully selected choice of universities among the best in the world with more than 130 partner agreements on five continents.
The School of Economics brings students closer to the professional world with activities and sessions in collaboration with high-level companies.
Our university environment provides a meeting point for the exchange of ideas and projects that helps our students understand the world.
Every student benefits from personal mentoring with a faculty member. Together with research and teaching, mentoring forms an integral part of the faculty’s role and is designed to ensure that transfer of knowledge and experience is not confined to the classroom.
The School’s academic programs are based on updated degrees linked to the professional world and also with students’ own interests. The professional alternatives are very broad and include monetary policy in international public organizations, the financial world, entrepreneurship and work in non-governmental organizations in developing countries. The School also offers the Business Madrid Program for training in collaboration with IESE Business School.
The School offers a university experience that goes beyond the classroom. We have clubs for students in different areas such as marketing and sales, finance, consulting, innovation and more.
A wide range of cultural, sporting and charitable activities enables students to acquire an education based not only on knowledge, but also on the values, attitudes and behaviors that will prepare them to develop successfully, both personally and professionally.
Besides exchange programs, our students have many options to live international experiences during the degree program: summer school courses at major universities around the world; international competitions to apply acquired knowledge; and one or two-week onsite programs at leading global institutions as part of some of our diploma programs.

What macroeconomic and financial factors are driving the global economy? Will China surpass the United States as the world’s leading economic power? Why did the 2008 financial crisis have such a negative impact on employment on a global level? Have we learned any lessons since then? What will happen to the dollar and the euro in the future? Will they be replaced by digital currencies? Will robots replace humans in economic production? If you have ever asked yourself any of these questions, this is the diploma for you.
