Our job is to help students understand their financial aid options so that finances don’t have to be a barrier to becoming a UO student. About 60 percent of our undergraduates receive some type of financial aid.

FINANCIAL AID For scholarships and work-study, you must apply for admission by January 15. Admission application materials, including test scores, must be received by February 15.

AUTOMATIC CONSIDERATION UO EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP*

$15,000 per year Awarded to incoming freshman with a 3.90 GPA or higher on a 4.00 scale and a qualifying test score (1450 SAT or 33 ACT).

$10,000 per year SUMMIT SCHOLARSHIP*

Awarded to incoming freshman with a 3.80 GPA or higher on a 4.00 scale and a qualifying test score (1250 SAT or 26 ACT). The GPA requirement is waived for holders of an official IB diploma.

$7,500 per year APEX SCHOLARSHIP*

SHEPHARD FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Awarded to incoming freshman with a 3.60 GPA or higher on a 4.00 scale and a qualifying test score (1220 SAT or 25 ACT). The GPA requirement is waived for holders of an official IB diploma.
