So this is our pledge to you: when you choose the UO, the tuition rate you pay will stay the same for up to five years no increases, no surprises.

Official transcripts or self-reported academic records from all secondary or high schools, colleges, and universities attended and your final official transcript when you graduate

SAT or ACT scores are not required for admission; however, students may submit them to prove English proficiency

INTERNATIONAL ADMISSION

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY

FULL ADMISSION: No additional requirements.

IFIG ADMISSION: Students are fully admitted to the UO and receive academic English support through the International First-Year Interest Group (IFIG).

CONDITIONAL ADMISSION: Conditionally admitted students are enrolled in the UO’s full-time Intensive English Program. Students begin regular UO courses after they complete this program.

SCHOLARSHIPS

FINANCIAL AID APPLICATIONS FOR ADMISSION MUST BE SUBMITTED BY JANUARY 15 TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AUTOMATIC SCHOLARSHIPS. GPA FOR SCHOLARSHIP PURPOSES IS A STANDARDIZED, WEIGHTED GPA CALCULATED BY ADMISSIONS. WE DO NOT REQUIRE SAT OR ACT SCORES FOR ADMISSION, AND THEY ARE NOT USED IN AWARDING FRESHMAN SCHOLARSHIPS.

UO EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP

15,000 USD per year

Eligibility: Limited number of awards available to top nonresident, incoming freshmen applicants. Consideration and selection based on review of admission application.

10,000 USD per year

SUMMIT SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility: Awarded to incoming freshmen with a 3.90 GPA or higher on a 4.00 scale.

7,500 USD per year

APEX SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility: Awarded to incoming freshmen with a 3.70 GPA or higher on a 4.00 scale.

Up to $2,000 per year

NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP

INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL SERVICE PROGRAM (ICSP)

Eligibility Requirements: National Merit finalist who lists UO as first choice on the National Merit Scholarship application.

Award amount varies

Eligibility: Awarded to international students living outside the US who are admitted to the Clark Honors College.

Eligibility: Awarded based on financial need, academic merit, and the ability to make presentations to diverse groups of people.
