Students are required to cover the fees associated with the course. Download the application form at www.uaf.edu/summer/ financialaid.
EARN DUAL CREDIT!
You can complete a high school course requirement and earn college credit at the same time. The Fairbanks North Star Borough School District allows students to apply for high school credit for UAF Summer Sessions courses. To do this students must: • Begin the approval process with their high school counselor. • Get approval from the school district’s executive director of alternative instruction and accountability, prior to registering for the university course. • Supply the school district with the course syllabus which needs to include topics covered, materials being used, assignments required, grading policy and instructor’s credentials. • Upon course completion submit appropriate paperwork and grade to his/her high school counseling department. UAF summer courses need to be completed prior to the start of the district’s school year. No more than one (1) outside credit will be allowed per summer.
