Ticketing and Age Ranges All tickets for Bounce are available from the University of Atypical website by visiting www.universityofatypical.org/bounce. Where events say ‘Free’ you will have the option to make a small donation at the door if you wish, which supports disability access costs. Free companion tickets are available for disabled people needing essential assistance. Where events are deemed most suitable for a particular age range, this is marked at the top of the event. Thursday 5th September Exhibition Launch Cameron Morgan: Knick Knacks and Whatnots Christian O’Reilly: A Conversation about Unspeakable Conversations 2pm to 3.30pm Atypical Gallery (90 mins) £3, all ages Writer Christian O’Reilly (Inside I’m Dancing, Sanctuary) is joined by Chris Ledger, Chief Executive Officer of University of Atypical, to discuss the genesis of his forthcoming theatre piece Unspeakable Conversations, developed with disabled people.
5pm to 8pm Atypical Gallery (180 mins) Free/donation, all ages A playful exhibition of print and ceramic pieces reflecting everyday, material objects that are so familiar, we barely register them or their aesthetic qualities. Developed in partnership with Project Ability, Glasgow.

Lady Vendredi: Neon Dream 7.30pm to late Black Box £10 , strictly 18+ unless accompanied by a guardian Cult music icon Lady Vendredi is a mythopoetic superheroine and vodou priestess popstar from another dimension. Enter the space of Neon Dream – a world of allegorical ritual, incorporating electronic music, dance and spoken word.

This piece has grown from an Erasmus partnership project called Yes We Are In, sharing stories across five EU countries and highlighting the city lives of disabled adults. How to Bounce: A Creative Writing Masterclass with Alice McCullough

11am - 1.30pm Central Library (150 mins) £3, all ages Do you dream of putting words to paper, writing more, speaking up, sharing your story? Are you a poet, storyteller or songwriter? Complete beginners and experienced writers are all welcome to join this informal and friendly session.
2pm - 3.30pm Flax Art Studios - Green Room (90 mins) £3, 18+ A physical, ritual and imaginative workshop drawing on Afro diasporic ritual actions as a way of accessing intuitive movement and perception towards. We will explore centres of movement linked to connecting inner and outer worlds. Places are limited to 15, so please book early!
Participants can use fibres to create artwork from something that they see as rubbish. Bring along an old rug, an orphan sock or any unwanted piece of textile. Make a ball, wrap it in wool fibres and create a decoration that is beautiful.

11am to 1pm Atypical Gallery (120 mins) £3, all ages Using sound and vibrations, participants will create 3-dimensional wool objects which they can take home at the end of the session.
1pm to 4pm (break at 2.30pm) Atypical Gallery (180 mins) £3, all ages This claymation workshop will allow participants to make an animated film on an iPad, using sound effects, visual effects, titles and lots of imagination! The workshop will follow a screening of MACROPOLIS - the story of two reject toys who escape from the factory.
This workshop for beginners makes circus skills accessible irrespective of disability, gender, age, or economic, religious or cultural background. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
