1pm and 4pm Belfast City Hall Lawn (15 mins) Free
5pm to 7pm Atypical Gallery Free
After a night on the town two revellers awake to find themselves in a bath. Convinced the party is not over, they play a tipsy tribute to the dancing partnerships of the silver screen. Bill & Bobby celebrates a golden time of good old-fashioned entertainment, when dancing together and ‘happily ever after’ went hand in hand. Choreographed by: Lucy Bennett and David Toole Performed by: Lucy Bennett / Amy Butler / Hannah Rotchell and David Toole
Kids In Control 4.30pm Belfast City Hall Lawn (20 mins) Free Join some of the crew from Kids In Control as they celebrate the opening day of Bounce by performing a taster preview of their exciting new outdoor performance Artache on City Hall Lawn. The full performance of Artache will premiere on Friday 21st September during Culture Night 2018.
I Stepped Out And She Stepped In Again is a visual and performance art exhibition by five Belfastbased artists. Best known as performance artists, creating work that exists temporarily in the fluid interactivity between performer and audience, rather than in the permanency of static observation between object and viewer, each artist also incorporates elements of visual art in their process and practice. This show draws out these visual elements
granting them longevity in a gallery setting. Open 11am to 4pm daily throughout the Bounce Arts Festival, and then weekly from Tuesday to Friday until October 26th. There will be an artists’ performance at Atypical Gallery on Saturday 16th September at 4pm. Artists: Elaine McGinn, Elvira Santamaria Torres, Jayne Cherry, Katrina Sheena-Smyth, Siobhán Mullan Curator: Hugh O’Donnell

Robert White is the only gay, Aspergic, quarter-Welsh comic on the British comedy circuit. Known for brilliant timing and performance style, Robert’s chaotic stage presence, improvisational skills and delivery won him the 2010 Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality. In June 2018, Robert was runner-up in the final of Britain’s Got Talent.
Alice McCullough’s awardwinning performances have captivated audiences as she plays with the boundaries between spoken word, comedy, storytelling and theatre. However there’s a story behind the success. In this new adaptation of her critically acclaimed show, and following two admissions to a mental health ward, Alice is more determined than ever to
Support comes from awardwinning ‘stand-up poet’ Alice McCullough, and Ross Mitchell, a Belfastbased comedian who tells tall tales about love, social anxiety, Disney movies and Yuri Gagarin. MC for the night will be big hairy manchild and award-winning comedian, the ‘bonkers but brilliant’, George Firehouse.

Expect laughter, some tears, and a life-affirming kick in the balls in this re-emergence of a talent not to be missed. “Powerful and Inspiring.” - Duke Special “Great show - fragile but in control, real, and in the moment.” - Kevin McAleer

My name is Marcie. I’ve been here for 10 years, 3 months and 2 days. Here all our names begin with M. There’s Max, Melissa, Mary, Mark, Michael and Malcolm. This is the M house. There’s also an A house, a B house, a C house, a D house...you get the picture. We’re supposed to sit and watch TV all the time but we have other ideas and we’ve got questions…lots of questions. The M House is an adventure story. It’s a satirical look
at the legacy of institutional Ireland. It’s a scramble to make sense of our one-size-fits-all culture. It’s a parable of our times. The M House is a play for anyone who’s ever been put in a box.
