Last year, UCF received nearly $123 million in research funding. The Central Florida Research Park, adjacent to the main campus, is ranked as one of the top research parks in the nation. Living at UCF

UCF offers a variety of on-campus experiences for students, from traditional residential communities to full-fledged apartment living with single rooms, kitchens and living rooms. All provide resident services and include free Internet and access to laundry rooms. UCF also offers universityaffiliated housing adjacent to the campus. There are more than 10,000 beds in oncampus and university-affiliated housing, 80 percent of which are allocated to freshmen. The Burnett Honors College is the center of academic excellence at UCF. Athletics at UCF UCF may be the only university to open two new venues in a single year. And that’s just what we did in 2007— a 10,000-seat arena for basketball games and the 45,000seat Bright House Networks Stadium, home to the UCF Knights football team. The UCF Knights women’s basketball team and the men’s golf team captured Conference USA Championships in 2009. UCF is also the home of an All-Conference USA women’s golfer—as well as the Conference USA Player of the Year from our men’s basketball team.
