Hospitality Redefined Hospitality is not defined by hotels alone—it includes events, conventions, trade shows, tourism, theme parks and attractions. It’s about creating the most enjoyable experience for every guest, whether they’re having a quick dinner out or attending a large convention. At Rosen College, we define hospitality as every element of the guest’s experience away from home. To that end, we focus on three principles: professionalism, leadership and service.

Academic Programs The Rosen College offers three Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree programs, covering all the elements of hospitality education. We prepare students to excel today and to adapt to the changes within the industry. The B.S. degree options are:

Hospitality Management The B.S. in Hospitality Management provides a comprehensive curriculum, designed to give students strong core courses and a choice of specializations. Specializations include: • Golf and Club Management • Hospitality Financial Management and Technology • Lodging Management • Theme Park and Attraction Management • Tourism Management • Vacation Ownership Resort Management

Event Management The B.S. in Event Management is perfect for students who want to work on large conferences and conventions or smaller events.

Restaurant and Foodservice Management The B.S. in Restaurant and Foodservice Management focuses on restaurant management and foodservice operations with an emphasis on restaurant design, food preparation, franchise development, cost controls, food and beverage management, catering and banquet organization.
