At the University of East London, we celebrate diversity. Our aim is to create a future in which anyone with the will and potential to succeed, regardless of their background, race or religion can transform their lives by studying with us.

The University’s Office for Institutional Equity (OIE) is the first of its kind in the UK and has specific responsibility for addressing inequalities within the institution. The Black Academy is a group of academic and senior professional staff committed to shaping policy and practice around educational equity, anti-racism, Black representation and inclusivity in higher education.
