Student visas To gain a UK Tier 4 visa, students must show that they have enough funds for both academic and living expenses. The UKVI stipulate the amount that unaccompanied applicants will need to show for living expenses at any University outside London. The University of Exeter is a great place to study, but also to get the most of out of student life. I am a member of Russian, Ukrainian and Kazakh societies, and I would strongly recommend students to join their own national society in order to get to know people from the same country, making the whole process of getting used to a new place much easier and more relaxed.
