Where Business Leaders are Born

Barney School of Business:

A Degree That Works for You

At the Barney School of Business, preparing the next generation of business leaders and change makers extends far beyond the classroom. Since our founding in 1958, we continue to be recognized for our everevolving curriculum, hands-on learning opportunities, close student-faculty interaction, personal and customized advising, and innovative Career Ready programs. From degree programs in highly sought-after fields, to top-ranked faculty and facilities that inspire success, your career is our top priority.

Whether you dream of Fortune 500 success, your own entrepreneurial venture, supporting a nonprofit, or something in between, there’s no denying the difference a Barney education makes. And it’s easy to see why we are among the 5 percent of business schools in the world that are AACSB accredited.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

Our academic programs mirror the changing landscape of today’s fast-paced, evolving business world. A Barney degree isn’t standard—it’s designed with the needs and interests of our students in mind. With eight undergraduate programs, four master’s degrees, five dual-degree graduate programs, and eleven postgraduate certificate programs, you’ll find a path to your passion.

FACULTY AND HANDS-ON LEARNING EXPERIENCES

Our faculty are academic leaders and practitioners in their fields, bringing concepts and materials to life through case studies and innovative approaches to analytics, marketing, and more. Hands-on learning experiences are the cornerstone of our approach to business education, which is why all Barney students complete at least one internship in their field of study prior to graduation.

FACILITIES

Much like our ever-evolving curriculum, our facilities keep pace with the needs of our students, providing state-of-the-art, high-tech learning spaces that match today’s modern business world. In 2019, we added 10,000 square feet of space—and renovated another 1,300 square feet—in Auerbach Hall, home of the Barney School of Business. This enhanced learning environment allows our students to gain understanding and familiarity with business through experiential learning that mirrors real-word business settings.

CAREER READY CURRICULUM

At the Barney School, your business training starts in the classroom, but our focus on developing your personal and professional skills ensures that you will be careerready for success.

– KARAN PRAJAPATI ’23

Being an international student, I had very little knowledge of the U.S. health-care system before the project. Now, I have a better understanding of health care and its five pillars. In addition, this project gave me a chance to improve my data extraction skills and to put my analytics skills to practical use via software like tableau and excel.

KARAN PRAJAPATI ’23
