Zack Johnston Graphic Designer The designs for the Getty Museum capture the feel of vising and the diverse mix of art on display. The Getty center itself is a an architectural work of art, at the top of a hill, the color scheme is reminiscent of the perfect blue sky day backdrop. The pops of color, circular frames, and dotted patterns bring in a touch of modernness and contemporary artistry that the Getty Center features. The designs for LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) depict the urban, downtown, contemporary feel of the Museum and its branding. The simple color scheme allows for the large, bold red color to pop out of the page. The cover highlights LACMA’s well know featured exhibition “Urban Lights” and is accompanied by L.A.'s quintessential palm trees, a staple to the landscaping design of the museum.
