College of Arts and Sciences Programs With more than 40 majors to choose from—plus the option to create your own through the Johnston Center for Integrative Studies—the College of Arts and Sciences enables you to pursue your dreams in an inspiring, collaborative setting. Location The main Redlands campus features orange groves, a blend of Greek, Spanish and Modern California architecture, hundreds of palm trees and red tile roofs. The City of Redlands offers a welcoming community with a lively downtown, unique coffee shops, a weekly Market Night and an eclectic array of restaurants. Redlands is a centralized location within easy driving distance to mountains, desert and beaches.

Program delivery Offering a traditional residential program, most College of Arts and Sciences classes are held Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the main Redlands campus. Students generally take four classes per 16-week semester. Transfer students can expect to graduate within 4-6 semesters, depending on credits and program. With an average class size of 19, we offer our students personalized attention and accessible full-time professors who encourage lively classroom discussions.

To begin the transfer process, the Office of Admissions must receive:

A personal statement including the Redlands Supplemental Writing Questions (part of the Common Application)

• Successful candidates traditionally have two solid semesters of full-time coursework with no less than a 2.0 (C) in any course and a recommended minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA

One letter of recommendation from an academic instructor Your official SAT or ACT test scores (if you have fewer than 24 units completed) Your official high school transcript with graduation date indicated Your official college transcripts from all institutions you have attended* A College Report (for students transferring from a 4-year institution), found in the Common Application With the help of our dedicated team, applying to transfer to Redlands is a smooth, personalized process.

• Majority of transferable coursework is within academic courses

• Successful completion of the following courses: English composition Intermediate algebra or equivalent Foreign language (one semester at the college level or two years in high school) • Students may transfer up to 66 units from a two-year institution and 96 units from a four-year institution

Bachelor of Science in Management

Designed for the working professional, the School of Business allows you to choose among multiple Southern California campus locations where most classes meet just one night per week. With flexible enrollment options throughout the year, you can expect to complete your degree within 24-30 months.

Build a conceptual foundation for managing and leading individuals and organizations utilizing a blend of theory and practice. You’ll relate your current, real-world workplace experience to lessons designed to develop your functional knowledge of business from a manager’s point of view.

You may also be eligible to receive up to 25% course credits for life and professional experience.

Bachelor of Science in Business Learn to leverage business concepts in problem solving, understanding information and applying knowledge learned in real-world and classroom settings. Our B.S. in Business program stresses ethics, communication, critical thinking and other vital themes to produce graduates with directly measurable skills.

Ensuring that your credits transfer

Housing

In addition, many community colleges offer classes that students may transfer to the School of Business and which will satisfy requirements for our two bachelor’s degree programs. This can accelerate time to graduation.

Because programs of study are designed for the working professional, on-campus housing is not available.
