HIDDEN GEMS ON CAMPUS MAKER SPACE The Maker movement has found its home in Salford in the Newton Building, with our new Morson Maker Space and Engine Room, open to all staff and students. Here you can try out a range of new technologies such as laser cutting, 3D printing and waterjet cutting with the help of our experts.
PEEL PARK Peel Park was the first public park to open in the United Kingdom funded entirely by the people’s subscription. Created in 1846, it was free to use and brought all Salford residents together. Benefiting from a £1.6 million transformation, the park provides a beautiful green space to relax in outside of lessons.
NEW ADELPHI THEATRE The theatre, located in the New Adelphi Building on our Peel Park campus, has an exciting events calendar with live music, art, comedy and performance events. With work on show from established, international touring companies, to emerging artists and our own students, we are proud to host a diverse programme with something for everyone. At its heart, our vision is committed to nurturing the emerging talents of our graduates, supporting the work of our postgraduates and fostering partnerships with regional, national and international artists.
