WHAT WILL I STUDY? / Audio Systems You will be introduced to a broad range of audio systems, including microphones, transmission and loudspeakers whilst learning to make sound effects for a computer game. / Live Sound Connections Study the methods of connecting audio and video equipment for analogue and digital data transmission, and power delivery in the context of PA and sound re-enforcement systems. / Studio Production Understand the underlying concepts of multi-track production, develop your production skills to translate multi-source live music into a recorded stereo image and develop the organisation skills to successfully record an artist/group. / Music Technology Systems Learn how to use computer-based tools for the generation, control, processing and audio reproduction in music technology. / Introduction to Television Production Appreciate the underlying principles of television production, using practical sessions to make a short film using single camera techniques. / Web Content Creation Explore the fundamental techniques of web design before having your site hosted on the University web server. You will also develop the skills to improve the rating of your site in search engine rankings and to produce animated content. Exact modules may vary in order to keep content current.
