INFORMATION YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF BEFORE APPLYING TO STUDY WITH US

WE

provide information about our courses, facilities and fees as far in advance as possible to give you an idea of what is available and plenty of time to consider your options. However, this inevitably means there will be changes to the information between the date this guide is produced (January 2021) and the date we make you an offer, so we reserve the right to update and add to any information in this guide at any time. We also reserve the right to change the information about our courses and facilities in this guide at any time where we have good reason. Reasons for such changes could include, for example: / Our need to respond to the unprecedented and fast moving Covid-19 situation. Check the website for our latest Covid-19 information. / Our need to withdraw or change a course or module where we have insufficient student numbers or funding to run it viably or to give students the appropriate educational experience. / Our need to respond to circumstances outside our control (such as requirements of any governmental, regulatory or professional bodies or the introduction of any new or modified laws or regulations). / Our desire to improve or maintain the quality of our courses and facilities or to introduce something which enhances the student experience or would otherwise be beneficial for students.

We aim to give students and applicants who have accepted offers as much notice as possible of any withdrawals of, or significant changes to, courses or modules or our facilities and to take all reasonable steps to minimise any disruption. However, it may not always be practicable for us to give advance notice of changes where we have to adapt to rapidly changing local and national measures and guidance for Covid-19. Students and applicants whose courses are adversely affected by any significant unforeseeable change will have the right to switch courses or, in the absence of any suitable alternative, to leave the university and transfer to another provider. Unless related to Covid-19, such changes during studies should only happen in very exceptional circumstances. Where they do happen, we will, as far as we are able, assist students with the practicalities of switching. Before deciding whether to apply for a course, make sure you visit our website www.salford.ac.uk as this is our definitive, up-to-date and detailed source of information about our courses and fees (or contact our course enquiries team at +44 (0)161 295 4545 or enquiries@salford.ac.uk to request this information). All changes to information in this guide will be detailed on our website as soon as is reasonably practical. In the event of any inconsistencies between such information and our website, information on our website will prevail.
