Saturday 15 February 2025, 09:30 – 16:00
Thank you for joining us for your Offer Holder Day. We hope that the day will give you a flavour of what life is like as an undergraduate student here at the University of Salford and that it answers any questions you might have. Please find below an overview of what’s happening on the day.
How does the day work?
During the day, all our courses will have one course session either in the morning or the afternoon. You’ll find your course session information on the further information webpage which gives you the run down on timings and the activities taking place for your course.
Alongside the course sessions, we are offering a variety of scheduled and drop-in activities, covering the range of student experience including campus tours, accommodation tours, student finance, parents and supporters Q&A sessions, disability and wellbeing, and more. We’ve listed all these activities for you below.
Choosing the right university and course is one of the most important decisions you will make. We’re here to help you with that decision and our number one recommendation is that you ask questions! Our staff and students are happy to help, and we’d especially recommend chatting with our students about their experiences here at Salford.
We can’t wait to meet you!

This presentation will advise on topics such as wellbeing and counselling, diversity, careers, academic support and more. We’ll also talk you through the process and tell you about the support services available here to you as a student with a disability but also more generally, including specific support for mature learners, LGBT and care experienced students.
For any parents and supporters who would prefer not to attend subject sessions, or for subject sessions where parents cannot attend, we’ll be holding a Q&A session on each campus. Ask us anything about studying and life at Salford, including accommodation, the application process, student finance and student support. Current students will be involved as part of a student panel giving their take on Salford and what it’s like to study here.
Our recruitment team will talk through the process for student finance applications, as well as giving you the chance to ask any questions.
