To sign up, go to the Publications tab on the Parent Relations website. SUMMER SEND-OFFS: Summer Send-Offs (SSOs) are pre-orientation socials held near your hometown. They are signature events where you can socialize with incoming and current Torero families. To attend your local SSO, go to the Programs/Events tab on the Parent Relations website. TORERO CLUBS: Torero Club events are opportunities for
alumni, parents and students to connect in a city near you. To see upcoming events and learn about a Torero Club near you, go to toreronetwork.sandiego.edu. PARENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAM: Become a USD Parent
Ambassador to volunteer your time at regional and on-campus events such as OLÉ! Weekend, Homecoming and Family Weekend, Grandparents’ Weekend, and various admissions activities. To join the program, go to the Get Involved tab on the Parent Relations website.
The only gift too small is no gift at all. If together we give, together we grow. A donation of any amount can make a difference in the lives of future Toreros. No gift is too small to make an impact. Make your gift today.

Weekend and will be able to make any changes at that time.
Interested in viewing your student’s records? Through the MySanDiego portal, your student can grant you access to view his or her records on your personalized MyUSDStudent portal. For a step-by-step how-to, visit the Resources tab on the Parent Relations website. my.sandiego.edu

The Second-Year Experience (SYE) Abroad Program
So much to do! Where to start?
Transitioning to USD
USD is ranked #2 for study abroad participation. SYE is an innovative and comprehensive international experience open to sophomore students at the University of San Diego. Final deadline to apply is this month.
The campus is full of activities and opportunities to meet students such as Torero Welcome Week, Aug. 31- Sept. 10, and the AlcalĂĄ Bazaar on Sept. 6. Campus Recreation also offers intramurals, sports clubs and recreation/fitness classes. Encourage your student to get involved!
Your student may undergo an emotional roller coaster as he or she acclimates to college life. The W-Curve helps put into perspective a student’s transition into this new environment. To learn more, go to the First-Year Parents tab.

Need a ride?
Students are preparing for final exams — anxiety and stress are high. The Center for Health and Wellness Promotion is a great place to learn strategies to stay stress-free.
If your student needs a ride to the San Diego International Airport, we recommend Super Shuttle. Super Shuttle offers special rates to USD students. Also, many students simply share a taxi or Uber ride. Contact the Office of Parent Relations to learn more.
