Queer & Trans Student Union’s purpose is to serve all USD undergraduate students, graduate students, alumni, and faculty who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, pansexual, gender-fluid, gender non-conforming, etc., or as allies to this community. As a cultural organization, Queer & Trans Student Union’s primary goal is to foster an environment of acceptance and inclusion of sexual and gender diversity through education, support, and social activities.

Queer & Trans Student Union encourages individuals and the university community to engage with issues regarding sexual rientation, gender identity, and gender expression, so as to foster personal and social growth and wellbeing.
