Lily Wise FLAGTOWN, NEW JERSEY RUTGERS PREPARATORY SCHOOL Illustration Character Development Sketchbooks

Lily Wise was born July 30th and grew up in various small New Jersey towns. The bland, boring atmosphere was her reason for creating bright, colorful and abstract pieces. These pieces brought interest and energy into her seemingly uneventful life. She attends Rutgers Preparatory School, a private school that has a more realistic art program, giving her a broad spectrum in her art. Lily bases most of her pieces on her many emotions, which is why her pieces can go from dark to bright neon. She thinks her psychedelic style is best represented on apparel or items such as skateboards. She wants people to interpret the pieces for themselves and not have a select meaning for everyone to blindly follow. It’s important to her that people apply their own emotions and feelings to the work while also being overwhelmed by all the different elements.
