Art Studio (SLS 202): Grades 1 & 2 Kids learn fundamental visual concepts and design basics through drawing, painting and collage, and find unique ways to experiment and express themselves through hands-on 2-D projects.
Build & Sculpt (SLS 207): Grades 1 & 2 Young makers discover materials such as clay, plaster, paper, wire and found objects as they learn the basics of constructing in 3-D.
Build & Sculpt (SLS 203): Grades 3 & 4 Young makers discover materials such as clay, plaster, paper, wire and found objects as they learn the basics of constructing in 3-D.
Art Studio (SLS 204): Grades 3 & 4 Kids learn fundamental visual concepts and design basics through drawing, painting and collage, and find unique ways to experiment and express themselves through hands-on 2-D projects.
Experiments in Color (SLS 205): Grades 5–7 Artists develop their own visual journals through various materials including oil pastels, watercolor, chalk pastels, colored pencils and acrylic paints.
Studio Art: Myth & Magic (SLS 209): Grades 5–7 Working with painting and sculpting materials, students use art magic to dream up enchanting creatures and heroes.
Studio Art: Characters & Cartoons (SLS 206): Grades 6–8 Young artists with big imaginations learn to tell stories through cartoons, draw people in environments, and develop characters in 2-D and 3-D.
Design Studio (SLS 208): Grades 6–8 Through creative exercises in drafting, modelmaking and construction, students build visual thinking and problem-solving skills by exploring space, form and function.
* There is no class Saturday, Nov. 30, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
