Art Studio: 1st + 2nd Grade

Build + Sculpt: 1st + 2nd Grade

This studio engages kids with fundamental visual concepts and design basics through drawing, painting, and collage. Young imaginations will find unique opportunities for experimentation and creative expression in hands-on 2-D projects.

Young makers will discover materials such as clay, plaster, paper, wire, and found objects as they learn the basics of constructing in 3-D in this sculpture-focused class.

Experiments in Color: 5th, 6th, 7th Grade

Studio Art: Myth + Magic: 5th, 6th, 7th Grade

In this class, artists will develop their own visual journal as they engage with various materials including oil pastels, watercolor, chalk pastels, colored pencil and acrylic paints. Creative experiments will include observation, abstraction, and invention while exploring subject matter such as nature, still life, cityscapes and collage.

Create otherworldly art that explores the history and power of people both real and imagined. Working with painting and sculpting materials, young artists in this class will use art magic to dream up enchanting creatures and heroes.

Studio Art: Characters + Cartoons 6th, 7th, 8th Grade This class is for young artists with big imaginations. Learn to describe stories visually through cartoons, draw people in environments, and develop characters in 2-D and 3-D.

Art Studio: 3rd + 4th Grade

Design Studio 6th, 7th, 8th Grade This class will inspire the curiosity of makers through hands-on projects focused on 3-D design. Through creative exercises in drafting, model-making, and construction, students will build visual thinking and problem-solving skills by exploring space, form and function.
