Student Success Stories Libby Chernouski (English):
“My time in the College of Arts and Humanities was an investment that began paying off immediately in terms of both personal and academic growth. The small class sizes and one-on-one attention from faculty members made the learning experience extremely profitable, equipping me with valuable skills, such as critical thinking, research, and collaboration. The College provided many opportunities to excel academically and socially, enabling me to pursue further education in graduate school as a fully-funded Teaching Assistant at the top university of my choice.” – UWP Outstanding Graduate 2014
Chad Bay
(Theatre Arts): “Transferring to UW-Parkside after my sophomore year of college was, hands down, the best decision I’ve ever made. Coming from a program in which I’d felt that my needs as an actor and student weren’t being met, I was amazed by the faculty’s instant commitment to my success. Since moving to Chicago, I’ve been lucky enough to work with a variety of theatres, from storefront companies to equity houses like the Goodman, in multiple capacities. UWParkside’s Theatre department prepares students to be bold, resourceful and relentless – without that precedent during my academic training, I would not be the successful young professional I am today.” – UWP Outstanding Graduate 2011
